I’ve been having a think about when I blog: is it the right time? Does it make sense? Should I change it? Is blogging at the end of each day better than blogging in the morning about the day to come or that day that’s passed? So many questions; so few answers.
So, I thought I’d ask my readers – what format works for you?
My bus zig-zagged its way up the entirety of Leith Walk this morning (due to the tram works) then broke down outside the Playhouse (due to it being shite bus). Surely that is some kind of record?
Good to see the PM doing something decent. In a recent poll against the proposed law over noise control in music venues, today I received a response:
“We are pleased to tell you that there is no truth in claims that the Government is planning to introduce a requirement for entertainment venues to fit noise control devices.
Each Local Authority Licensing Authority considers every live music application on its merits, and decisions are made entirely by them. However, the Licensing Act 2003 does not allow mandatory conditions for live music to be imposed across the board. It would not be possible to impose such a condition without a change in the law and such a change is not, and never has been, on the Government’s agenda.”

A victory for concert goers everywhere! (Diane – you must be as delighted as I am?)
I’m off down to South Shields for the weekend so no blogging this weekend. Normal service shall resume on Sunday night.
Have a great weekend y’all!
