Talking Bollocks

Talking Bollocks

Friday doth cometh at lasteth. Can’t say I’m anything but delighted because it’s been a hell of a week. Not in a bad sense, I’ve been pushing myself to make sure certain things that need to get done get done, and now I’m really geared up for the weekends fun and frolics. It’s been a productive week on all sides but I need some downtime.

That mushrooming tiredness I mentioned yesterday finally took hold of me and by the time I got home after work last night I had no energy left with which to write. It was impossible. I never even made a dinner I was so worn out. Mind you, I’d been out for a departmental lunch to Amore Dogs and filled my chubby little face with bruschetta and penne carbonara. Very nice (and filling) it was indeed.

So, with nothing much else happening yesterday other than the day job and sleep, that leaves me time to talk bollocks for another couple of paragraphs.

Did you know 10 Downing Street was actually number 5 until 1779?

And how about something for the weekend:

My weekend plans include a trip up town tomorrow, some house and garden duties, and, of course, plenty of writing and reading. I’m supposed to be going to the Usher Hall for an album launch gig tonight but as of this moment it’s in jeopardy due to an unforeseen family matter. I’ll have to make a last minute decision on that one later.

Have a great Friday people. Peace and out!
