The Confident Freelancer
Today I’m over at The Confident Freelancer webinar – that’s a seminar on the web, by the way – being run all day by two of the most inspirational women I know, Devon Ellington and Lori Widmer.

This means I’ll be on my computer most of the day from lunchtime onwards, working hard, and attempting to unlock the key of good freelancing. With my plans still moulding in my head for the expansion of my music website, Man in the East, this could be a key point of educational inspiration in itself. I’m also helping out in a troubleshooting capacity, so if you’ve signed up for the webinar I’ll see you there.

If you’ve not signed up, it’s not too late. You can join in at any point in the day I understand and still benefit from the seminars, board discussions, e-book and enter the competition to win fiction and non-fiction critiques. Just get your ass over to The Confident Freelance, register, and get involved!

SLF Review
My review of last week’s Stiff Little Fingers gig at Glasgow Barrowland is now up at Man in the East. It’s an annual thing this review, but every year I seem to find another way of describing this gig.

I’ve got a few cracking gigs lined up for April now, too: Big Audio Dynamite next week and some grass roots music in April with Kid Canaveral, Rachel Sermanni and Withered Hand. It’s going to a be a great spring for gigs.

Gail Galbraith Photography
I helped my wife out in her studio last night after a new floor went down in the toilet facility during the day. Gail Galbraith Photography is now ready to face 2011 as she cranks up a gear for all the new business she’s lined up. She’s going to be very busy. Just as well I’m taking her to London in May to see Roger Waters – any excuse to spend time together!

Today
That’s about all for today. I’m off into Edinburgh now for my weekly Saturday morning constitutional, then I’ll be working for the rest of the day. I may, may, be recording my first podcast later in the day as well. More on that in tomorrow’s post.

Have a good one!
