One of Those Weeks
It’s been one of those weeks. Unable to blog much due to travelling between cities, gigging and the compulsion to get BACCARA BURNING and GREENER finished, I was left little time to put any thoughts on it all into my blog – until now.

B.A.D.
It’s Saturday morning and I’m shortly to head out into the city for my Saturday wander and coffee stop, but to recap, the main highlight of the week for me was the Big Audio Dynamite (B.A.D.) gig in Glasgow’s ABC on Wednesday night.

They were fantastic. It wasn’t the best set list I was hoping for but it was damn good. Most of the songs transferred well onto the live stage, and Mick Jones was on great form, looking like he was having fun and bantering well with a pretty decent crowd. It was a great night. A full review will be up over at Man in the East in a few hours.

Pie and a Pint
The departmental “Pie and a Pint” lunch took place during the week. Off we toddled to Thomson’s Pub in the west end of Edinburgh, and tucked into their world famous steak pies. These things are phenomenal and simply THE best steak pies anywhere. I would recommend anyone in town goes for a lunch in there just once – you’ll be amazed.
