I took the evening off work last night to spend time with my daughter. We’d planned one of our little Pizza and DVD nights; Domino’s Hot and Spicy and an Indiana Jones movie. After the intensity of the week behind me and weekend that lies ahead, it was a wonderful little oasis of fun.

My submission to the Trees for Life exhibition went live on their website yesterday. My Haiku has got a wonderful response with tweets and emails coming back to me with compliments. It’s very heart warming.

I’m afraid that’s about all I have for Saturday’s blog. Today it’s all about work again as I strive head first towards the end of the writing of my new novel. There’s a very good chance I’ll complete the first draft before the weekend is out.

Back to the page – peace out!
