Woke like a midge on a mission (see pic – not Midge Ure) this morning; buzzing, alert, and raring to get going. And straight off I edited three chapters of Slick, which included writing two new sections; Lennox with a concierge then in a penthouse suite with Mulholland, and Carl’s discovery of some items in Ronnie’s apartment. It amounted to around 2,000 extra new words.
I wrote up my blogs, worked through some email, and completed this week’s preview article for Six Nations Rugby Spotlight. Also completed the press release for RR Issue 2, but have yet to distribute it. Finally, I wrote article 3/4 of this month’s allocated DWT articles.
All of this was accomplished before work and through my lunch. Phew!
So – what did I do AFTER work?
Well, I did some more work on Slick, but that was about it. I seem to be burning myself out during the day and when I came home I was knackered. So I had my dinner, chilled, then went to bed later on with a book.
Apologies for another short and to the point blog entry, but I’ve written the last two days at the end of the day when I’m least creative with my posts. That’s the price for getting stuck into a DI Lennox before dawn, I’m afraid.
