Cleansed On Every Level

My home office has never been cleaner and more organised. Yesterday, I completed giving it a deep clean, which included spring cleaning a lot of paperwork and gumph that was lying around, and as a result there is now a pile of stuff lying in the hall outside my door. Wife not best pleased because it merely appears I have moved the mess, but what wasn’t thrown out will be going up into the loft for storage.

It wasn’t a small job It took me most of the day, a day which was peppered with reading, drinking coffee and planning out my week in more detail. I’m going to take care of a number of things I’ve been meaning to do for so long that they have become permanent markers in my memory bank.

Gail’s “secret project” is coming along nicely. The only reason I mention is that I have permission to reveal what it is now and I also spent some time there yesterday afternoon. She is opening her own photographic studio in Leith, which shall be home to the portraiture side of her business. The building is an absolute tip just now, but she’s hoping to launch it in June, just in time for the Leith Festival.

My Andy Know review was published online over at News of the World, which you can also read from this morning at The Man in the East website.

Today I shall be writing. With everything back in order and with it being a Monday without any day job to think about, I’m enjoying it already. I had a bit of a lie in this morning, but I’m relaxed and doing nothing to prevent more coming my way.

And of course, this Friday, my new book SILLY POEMS FOR WEE PEOPLE VOL.2 will be published. Happy days!

Until tomorrow, peace and out!
